An online academy by Athira Santhosh, guiding learners worldwide in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Semi classical & Custom choreography.
Dance has always been more than steps it's emotion, discipline, and connection to culture. I'm Athira Santhosh, founder and instructor at Janma Dance Academy. My journey began at age six, when Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam & Kuchippudi became not just art forms, but languages of devotion and identity.
I trained under Guru Kalamandalam Leelamani (Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kerala Nadanam) and Guru Anupama Mohan (Kuchipudi). Over the years, I've performed across countries and won multiple competitive events, including Kerala State Kalolsavam First Prize and Canada First Prize.
Now based in Canada, I've created Janma as an online space where anyone, from anywhere, can experience the beauty of Indian classical dance. Distance, time zones, or busy schedules shouldn't stop you from learning an art form passed down for centuries.
Our online classes are flexible from private one-on-one coaching to interactive group sessions so every learner can progress at their own pace while still being part of a vibrant community. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, you'll find a space here to grow, perform, and connect with the beauty of Indian dance.
